Looking at this bag, does it have velcro dividers inside to divy up the stuff on the inside of the main bag?

It does not appear that this item will come with any sort of divider for the main pouch.

If you lined up Glock pistol boxes in the main compartment. How many would fit? Also can it hold a significant amount of ammo to take to the range?

Somewhere between 7 and 8 with room for ammo, it depends on how much ammo you were looking to bring. this has 8 external mag pouches as well.

It would depend on your barrel length. A standard 16" barreled AR-15 will not fit.
