The Adams Arms P Series Micro Block Mid Length Piston Kit requires 9.866" from barrel extension to shoulder. Where it says carbine length it is a typo and should say mid length.

What is the height from center of bore? so I can figure out what size hand guard I need.

I highly recommend the Daniel Defense MFR XL handgaurd, the piston kit not only fits under it, Daniel Defense has various lengths with your choice of m-lok or keymod.

does the bolt carrier group come with the necessary pins and bolt?

A
Answered by Dima Prok, guest, from WA, United States, on August 16, 2021

No! It does not and I was quite upset when I realized I need to purchase the bolt, firing pin, etc separately and AA does NOT mention that on their website either. When I contact AA customer service I was informed this is suppose to be "upgrade" so you get to pull your bolt from originai BCG except I was NOT upgrading but building from scratch. I had to spend $100 on toolcraft BCG so it would match my nickel boron AA bolt carrier.

Yes, you would only need to complete the BCG with the appropriate bolt, cam pin, firing pin, and retaining pin.

No, that system will likely be drilled for a pistol length gas system. This kit is for a mid-length system.
