The Sight base is kind of wobbly loose and canted to the left is that correct? Everything else seems ok. Clamps on rail tight

can a scope be mounted to this and how is the fit on AR10?

You can mount a scope to a carry handle with the use of a carry handle picatinny mount like the NcSTAR AR Carry Handle Mount (linked below). It will fit and function as intended with an AR10 platform rifle.

What size are the apertures?

The apertures on that carry handle are mil-spec sized, and made for F marked front sight block.

Does Aero make a rail mounted front sight to go with this rear?

This carry handle can be used with any standard height AR front sight. There are many options available from many brands. Aero Precision does make sights but we do not carry them at this time.

Will this rear carrying handle-sight work for my DPMS AR=10

Yes, it should. With the .308 upper receiver being longer than a 5.56, the handle will be shorter than the upper and will not stretch the full length of the receiver.
