Does this barrel nut need to be timed with the s one handguard?

It needs to be timed with the gas tube. One of the indented lines needs to be in-line with the gas tube (use shims if needed) and tighten to between 35-60 ft.lbs.

Would this work with my aero key mod rail that has the BAR barrel nut? I can’t get the gas tube lined up with the receiver? It’s about a half inch off
