Does this barrel nut need to be timed with the s one handguard?

It needs to be timed with the gas tube. One of the indented lines needs to be in-line with the gas tube (use shims if needed) and tighten to between 35-60 ft.lbs.

I spoke to Aero on the phone and they stated they no longer make this barrel nut. How can this be listed as available for purchase here? Can you answer this question?

Although its proprietary and a little bit high. I am still a fan of Aero precision. I feel like i get capable and quality parts for fractions of Daniel Defense and BCM etc. if you lose it I would suggest the M4A1 upper receiver with it built in.
