The Aero Precision M4E1 Enhanced 16in 5.56 Mid-Length Barrel Quantum Handguard Complete Upper barrel is threaded for 1/2x28.

Can you install the newer atlas s one Handguard on this ? Still have this one upper.

You would need to replace the entire handguard mounting system. The Atlas uses a proprietary handguard and will not work with the Enhanced M4E1 upper.

These barrels are not chrome lined or cold-hammer forged.

Description says it comes with a 5.56 barrel. That will allow you to shoot .223 ammo.
