In the description, what is “threaded” referring to?

"threaded" in the description refers to the set screw. The set screw being threaded allows for easier installation and leaves less room for marring other parts upon installation.

Yes. A 5.56 can shoot .223 rounds but not the other way around.

The Aero Precision M4E1 Threaded 5.56 Mid-Length w/ ATLAS S-ONE Handguard Complete Upper Receiver does not feature an adjustable gas block. It uses a low profile gas block and mid-length gas system.

Does the flash-hider have a hole for a pin? In CA we need to pin-and-weld the flash hider on to make the barrel assembly 16"

The A2 Flash Hider on the the Aero Precision M4E1 Threaded 5.56 Mid-Length w/ ATLAS S-ONE Handguard Complete Upper Receiver does not have a hole to pin and weld to the barrel.

The Aero Precision M4E1 Threaded 5.56 Mid-Length w/ ATLAS S-ONE Handguard Complete Upper Receiver will work with Mil-Spec lowers. So it will work with a DPMS AR15 Lower.
