It will not. The M5 is an AR308 pattern rifle. For a 5.56NATO build you should look at the M4E1 Enhanced upper receiver.

No. The upper and lower receivers on 308 rifles are larger than the 5.56.

No. You need to purchase the M4E1 which is designed for the bolt carrier group that chambers 5.56 NATO or .223 Remington

No, this if for .308 based cartridges only, 6.5 Creedmoor, .243, 7-08, etc. You want the M4 version for .223/5.56, 6.5 Grendel, 6 ARC, etc.

Not without major modification. This reciever is made to accept big bore bcgs like aero precision's .308 bcg. The reciever is physically larger than a standard ar-15 receiver. The M5 aero precision parts are all made for .308 or similar cartridges.

No, this is not compatible with an AR15. This is for 7.62 x 51mm / .308 rounds and the platform is an LR10.
