Can this be used as a clip-on thermal in front of day time scope

No, the AGM Global Vision Rattler TS25-256 25mm Thermal Imaging Rifle Scope is a Thermal Riflescope itself. It will not work in conjunction with a daytime riflescope. There are thermal clip on's available for daytime riflescopes that can either mount to a picatinny rail in front of your scope or directly attach to your objective lens via an adapter. Email us at Techsales@opticsplanet.com and let us know what specific scope and rifle you have, and we can find a clip-on that will work for your setup.
