Is there any possible way this could work in conjunction with a rifle scope? I know there is probably no mount that works for it but could it be done?

The AGM Global Vision Taipan TM15-384 Thermal Imaging Monocular is designed as a handheld device only and can not be mount to a rifle.

Does this tell you the distance to the target (built in range finder)?

The AGM Global Vision Taipan TM15-384 Thermal Imaging Monocular features a distance measurement function which realizes distance measurement after marking the top and bottom of target and input the target height.
