will this work on a p365x?

No. The AIM Sports 1x33 Dual Illuminated Red/Green Reflex Sight uses a picatinny mount to fit to picatinny/1913 rail systems. It will not fit any handgun unless it has a top picatinny rail.

Why can I only see a blob no matter what setting it’s on.

You may have a defect or an astigmatism. You can determine this by taking a picture of the red dot sight with a smartphone, which will show if the red dot is defective or not. If this isn't viable, we would recommend asking two or more friends/family to see if their view differs.
