Will THIS with the Leapers UTG mount work with my standard Aimpoint PRO red dot?

The UTG mount with our magnifier is a special done by Optics Planet, we don't sell it so I am not sure. But most mounts are generally a similar height and it should work well.

I have a aimpoint t2 with a 1/3 co witness quick detach. will the flip mount line up with the t2 or ?

The Aimpoint 3X-C Magnifier with Aimpoint flip mount will be at a height of 39mm. So you will need a riser or another mount to bring the Aimpoint 3X-C Magnifier to a lower 1/3 co-witness.

The Aimpoint 3X-C Magnifier model with mount to should work with that set up just fine.

Why when you snap this back to normal operation there is a slight gap like it doesn't snap and stay put it moves slightly is that normal?

Yes, this is normal. Unlike a mount for a red dot sight, the Magnifier mount does not need to maintain zero as the Magnifier does not affect the red dot sight's zero, so some slight movement is fine. -Aimpoint

What is the difference between the Flip to Side and Twist Mount in their function?

With the flip to side mount the magnifier will either flip to the left or right side of the rifle when not in use. With the twist mount the magnifier twists completely on or off the rifle.
