What is advantage of high vs low battery mount?

If you use a magnifier or night vision goggles the adjustment on the high battery compartment on the M4 will be easier to use and access. The M4s has the advantage of having a less obstructed view above the optic.

With the spacer in this sits at lower 1/3rd co-witness. The spacer is necessary for use on an AR-15 rifle.

AimPoint CompM4s Red Dot Sight is optimized for use with all generations of night vision devices (NVDs), but is especially suited for generation 3 night vision, which you will be seeing the IR illumination through.

If your firearm has a picatinny attachment on the carrying handle, then yes, it will fit. Also, we do sell carrying handle scope mount.
