The Aimpoint T-2 does not have shake awake, it is intended to be left on at all times, with an industry leading battery life of 50,000 hours, it is recommended to leave it on as you will only have to change the battery every 5 years. We still recommend changing the battery every 1-2 years on your birthday but the battery life is so long that shake awake features are not needed.
