The purpose of suppressor height sights is to still have the ability to use your iron sights in the event your RMR fails without needing to remove the RMR. That could be because it's broken or because the battery is dead, but you still have sights. Often, tritium or even fiber optic sights are a distraction from the dot of the RMR, or are are simple unnecessary if you have a functional red dot.
