Will this work on my taurus g3 pistol.

If you have the Taurus G3 TORO (optic ready model) you can install this optic using the #2 plate included with your Taurus. If you do not have a TORO, you will need to have your slide milled for an optic with the RMR footprint or use a dovetail adapter. Email us at Techsales@opticsplanet.com for further assistance.

Do I have to buy the mount separately for my Taurus g3c

The AmeriGlo Haven Handgun Carry Ready Combo 1x28mm Red Dot Sight uses the RMR footprint. It will work with a Taurus G3C TORO using the RMR TORO mounting plate. The TORO mounting plate #2 that came with the gun should be the correct plate.

Does the Carry Lock feature make this a constant on optic or will it still shut off after 12 hour with the Carry Lock feature engaged?

The AmeriGlo Haven Handgun Carry Ready Combo Red Dot Sight will still shut off after 12 hours even if the Carry Lock feature is activated.
