Response from manufacturer: • Our Blastwave has been designed to work with many different 3-lug adapters however due to different designs and tolerances from different manufacturers we cannot guarantee the fitment of all devices. There is unfortunately no true industry standard for 3-lug dimensions.
The Blastwave cannot be used on most handguns due to it's weight. It will not allow a handgun with a floating barrel to cycle. In theory a handgun with a fixed barrel, like a Beretta 92, may work as the barrel doesn't move during cycling. Any 3-lug should work on a handgun provided it's the correct caliber.
Response from manufacturer: Provided the muzzle break has a 3-lug attachment and is designed for 9mm then it should fit (again, see above) however, the Blastwave itself is only 2.5" long so a muzzle break that is 2.21" long will drastically change the way the Blastwave works. Since I don't know specifically which one you are speaking of and we probably haven't tried it, my best guess is it will reduce the Blastwaves effectiveness in directing the blast forward due to the muzzle device being closer to the forward end of the Blastwave.
