According to the manufacturer the Angstadt Arms AR-15 9mm 5.4 oz Carbine Buffer Assembly w/ Carbine Buffer Spring will work with Colt and Glock magazines. They do not mention if the buffer assembly will work with AR magazines with a 9mm insert. I recommend contacting the manufacturer to confirm compatibility.

Would this work for a 300 blackout pistol?

A
Answered by Brandon, member, from UT, United States, on January 29, 2021

No, it will not. You would use a standard mil-spec buffer and buffer spring. This buffer kit has the spacer that shortens the spring length and space for the BCG to recoil within the buffer tube - it has this because the 9mm BCG is shorter than the 5.56/.300 AAC BCG.
