This Apex Tactical Specialties Apex Grade 9mm Luger 4" Barrel is not compatible with the LS Edge. You would need to use a 5" barrel for the LS Edge model, which Apex does offer, and can be found by using the link below:

The Apex Tactical Specialties Apex Grade 9mm Barrel is not compatible with the FNX-9. The FNX-9 is not compatible with 509 barrels.

is a thread protector needed if a suppressor is not attached to the barrel? If so, is one included with the purchase?

The Apex Tactical Specialties 105072 Apex Grade 9mm Luger 4" barrel includes a thread protector. It is only necessary if you wish to protect your threads when not in use.

I pu a 509 tactical with 24 rd mags ,the threaded barrel was removed with a non threaded barrel .will this be the correct one ?

This Apex 9mm Threaded Barrel is designed specifically for the FN 509 model pistols with a factory 4.00" barrel. This includes the FN 509 Midsize.

Will this barrel make an FN 509 look like an FN 509 tactical? Will the 4” sit flush or stick out like the tactical?

This Apex 9mm Threaded Barrel is designed specifically for the FN 509 model pistols with a factory 4.00" barrel. This includes the FN 509 Midsize. The thread protector will protrude 1/2" past the slide.

509c has a 3.7 long barrel so this 4 inch barrel would not work. Look for Apex FN 509c 3.7 barrel
