The Armageddon Gear Convertible Carbine Sling uses QD sling attachment points to attach to a rifle/pistol. I cannot tell you what you will need without knowing what firearm you intend to use this with. I would recommend emailing us at Techsales@opticsplanet.com and letting us know what firearm you have.
