The difference is in the minor blemishes and the amount of artifacts (tiny black spots) that the unit will have. "Bravo" tubes may have a couple small blemishes or artifacts where "Alpha" tubes should have almost none and the ones that may be present are on the peripherals of the lens/field of view. The image quality may be different, but it will be minuscule.
