Can this stand the recoil from a AR10 chambered in .308?

Image intensifier tubes are graded based on their performance and the number of black spots. Alpha grade models will have less black spots than a Bravo grade model.
Use of an IR illuminator is not always needed. Using an IR illuminator is recommended for situations where there is not sufficient ambient lighting.
