will this work on a stock m&p ar15

The AT3 Tactical SPEAR M-Lok AR-15 Free Float Handguard will work with an M&P15. If you have a model with a front sight gas block or railed gas block those gas blocks will need to be removed and replaced with a low profile gas block.

Yes, the AT3 Tactical SPEAR M-Lok AR-15 Free Float Handguard has an internal diameter of 1.35" and will be compatible with low profile gas blocks.

The AT3 Tactical SPEAR M-Lok AR-15 Free Float Handguard has an internal diameter of 1.02". So it will most likely not fit over the Adams Arms Conversion Kit.

The AT3 Tactical SPEAR M-Lok AR-15 Free Float Handguard could be used with a heavy barrel. The internal diameter of the AT3 Tactical SPEAR M-Lok AR-15 Free Float Handguard is 1.02". You would just have to ensure that once the gas block is installed that it does not sit higher than 1.02".
