Are the graduations for bullet drop that are in the reticle specific for .22 LR? Is there a .17 HMR version or will the hash marks work for both cal? — 1 Answer

The Athlon Optics 4-12 x 40 mm Rifle Scope uses the BDC 22 Rimfire Reticle which was designed specifically for rimfire. This
reticle allows shooters to compensate for bullet drop at extended shooting distances. When using a .22 LR with a muzzle velocity of approximately 1,250 feet per second, this reticle is designed to be zeroed at 50 yards, providing bullet drop compensation for 75, 100, 125 and 150 yards.
