1. Which Butler Creek flip-up caps fit this scope? 2. Which Athlon sunshade fits this scope?

The Argos BTR Gen 2 comes with a set of flip-up caps, but here are the Butler Creek sizes:
Objective: 40
Ocular: 19

The sunshade that will fit this model is 214061S.

Can this handle rounds from 50bmg?

The Athlon Optics Argos 6-24 x 50 mm Rifle Scope is rated for recoil up to 50 BMG, as well as all Athlon optics that have a 3 letter abbreviation (BTR).

Mounting on a savage axis precision 6.5 creedmoor what mount is recommended and does the scope have enough adjustments to reach 1000 yards

I would strongly suggest using a 20 MOA rail if you plan on using this scope to 1,000 yards. Without having the gun to verify, the educated guess would be to use medium rings from our Precision or Armor ring lines.

I would recommend using one of our cantilever mounts. This will ensure proper height and eye relief.
