Will this reticle work for a .308 WIN?

Expert Answer
A
Answered by Ethan C., Gear Expert, from IL, United States, on May 21, 2018

While the reticle was designed for the 5.56 62gr round, you can adapt it to use for .308. You would just have to re-calculate for the .308 round using the ballistics calculator of your choice.

Does this come with a radical compatible with the AK47 7.62x39 132 G?

Expert Answer
A
Answered by Hunter, Gear Expert, from OH, United States, on May 23, 2022

The Atibal XP8 Mirage 1-8x24mm Rifle Scope reticle is calibrated for use with 5.56 62gr ammo. So it could be used on an AK47 but the preset reticle holdover marks will not be accurate for 7.62x39 ammo.

will I be able to use 77gr btht with this reticle?

Yes, even though the Atibal XP8 Mirage 1-8x24mm Rifle Scope reticle is designed for use with 62 gr. ammo it can be used with other ammo as well. The reticle elevation and windage marks may be slightly different depending on the ballistics of the specific ammo with your rifle.

Do I need a mount for this. I see no info for mounting.

The Atibal XP8 Mirage 1-8x24mm Rifle Scopes do not come with a mount or rings. If you are mounting the Atibal XP8 Mirage 1-8x24mm Rifle Scope to an AR platform I recommend using a cantilever mount. The mount located at the link below will work.
