Does this Scope work only in IR? Or, can it work in normal light? Or Both heat and/or light?

This is a thermal rifle scope and will only work off of thermal radiation. This is not a standard night vision rifle scope that amplifies light.

If I have the Sig BDX system now, will my laser (2400 model) be compatible with atn scope? I believe bdx uses obsidian and one other app ?

Yes, thermals can be safely used during the daytime. Please avoid pointing it directly at the sun.
