What is different between BinoX 4K and BinoX HD?

Manufacturer Answer
A
Answered by ATN, Manufacturer from CA, United States, on July 08, 2021

BinoX-4K is the next generation of digital binoculars. It uses a much higher resolution 4K Sensor, vs the 1080P in the Binox-HD model, and uses much higher quality optics resulting in a clearer and sharper image. Also, it incorporates an internal battery that lasts over 15 hours with each charge.

Does the camera view 'zoom' to match the optical zoom seen through the eyepieces?

Manufacturer Answer
A
Answered by ATN, Manufacturer from CA, United States, on August 04, 2021

There is no optical zoom and the system relies on digital zoom. Due to the use of a high-resolution 4K sensor, there is only minimal pixelation towards the very higher end of the magnification.

Are these generation 4?

Expert Answer
A
Answered by Brandon B, Gear Expert, from IL, United States, on July 27, 2021

The ATN BinoX 4k do not have a generation association as they use a thermal sensor similar of that to a digital/DSLR camera.

Is this BinoX Made In The USA or Imported?

Expert Answer
A
Answered by Bethany Kopel, Gear Expert, from UT, United States, on February 10, 2021

ATN’s main manufacturing plant is in China, and most of their products come with a tag of “made in China.” They do not specify that the BinoX is made elsewhere.
