The unit has internal (non-replaceable) rechargeable batteries. The internal batteries should last for many many years if charged properly.
Yes, there is an icon on the screen that shows you the battery life.
In night vision mode, the binoculars can see up to 350+ yards away under optimal conditions.
That is correct. The other lens housing is used for the IR and laser range finder.
BinoX-4K is the next generation of digital binoculars. It uses a much higher resolution 4K Sensor, vs the 1080P in the Binox-HD model, and uses much higher quality optics resulting in a clearer and sharper image. Also, it incorporates an internal battery that lasts over 15 hours with each charge.
The eye relief is completely independent from the zoom levels.
There is no optical zoom and the system relies on digital zoom. Due to the use of a high-resolution 4K sensor, there is only minimal pixelation towards the very higher end of the magnification.
The ATN BinoX 4k do not have a generation association as they use a thermal sensor similar of that to a digital/DSLR camera.
ATN’s main manufacturing plant is in China, and most of their products come with a tag of “made in China.” They do not specify that the BinoX is made elsewhere.
