1. Is this tapped on the bottom to receive a tripod screw? 2. Can i connect this either wired or wirelessly to a remote screen?

The battery is not replaceable, but I'd assume it's covered by the warranty to some extent. I'd contact ATN directly if you needed it replaced.

What is the difference between this and the OPMOD version. Do both have the same Obsidian Core LT?

OPMOD is our OpticsPlanet exclusive version. The product itself is the same. However, OPMOD products often come with little accessories like the OPMOD branded case that is pictured or come in exclusive colors.

Can this be recharged via USB on a typical solar charger ?

The ATN OTS-XLT 2.5-10x Thermal Viewer includes a USB-C charging cable and could be recharged with a USB compatible solar panel/charger.

What is the minimum distance the unit can resolve with full clarity? I need a thermal imager for home inspection but need to be no further than 4'.

The ATN OTS-XLT 2.5-10x Thermal Viewer has a minimum magnification of 2.5X. So what ever you are viewing will appear 2.5x bigger than viewing with the naked eye. ATN does not state the minimum focus distance of the ATN OTS-XLT 2.5-10x Thermal Viewer so for that information I recommend contacting ATN.

Can the rangefinder on this connect to my xsight 4k?

The ATN OTS-XLT 2.5-10x Thermal Viewer can not connect the the ATN X-SIGHT 4K. However, the rangefinder listed at the link below is compatible with that scope.

The manufacturer doesn't state if you can use an external battery pack with the ATN OTS-XLT 2.5-10x Thermal Viewer. I would contact the manufacturer to see if there is a compatible external battery pack they recommend.
