I'm sensitive to pulse width modulated LEDs and displays. Are the ocular displays in these scopes PWM free? If not, what is the driver frequency?

With this thermal imager can you tell if a deer has horns? If so out to what distance

You can see deer antlers when they are in velvet, but you will not see them when they have shed the velvet. Certain animals will also appear somewhat bald. Raccoons look very strange and coyotes don’t appear to have bushy tails. Deer really stand out from hogs because of their long necks and posture. You have to learn how to recognize things through a thermal it’s a bit of a learning curve.

is the range finder that comes with this attach to the rifle and communicate automatically continually with the scope or is it hand held?

The rangefinder that comes in the kit version of the ATN ThOR 4 2.5-25x50mm Thermal Smart HD Riflescope mounts to the scope. All the functions of the rangefinder are controlled from the scope once it is paired to it.

Is the lithium ion battery in the THOR 4 replaceable?

No, the batteries are internal and cannot be replaced. Though if anything goes wrong with the battery, it is covered under our warranty and we would be happy to replace it.
