What are the ranges of detection, recognition, and identification?

Detection range is 625 meters, recognition range is 280 meters, identification range is 170 meters.

i just bought the ATN Thor 1x10 thermal 640x480. how long does it take to get this scope ready to mount and use on my 308? downloads, etc thanks

It should be a relatively simple process. There are no downloads needed to run the unit. You should be able to mount it up, turn it on and zero it and you should be ready to go.

What is the difference between the Thor and the Ots in 640mm

The OTS is just a monocular, it is not weapon mountable and does not have a ballistic reticle. The Thor HD is weapon mountable and has a choice of ballistic reticles.

would this scope work and hold up on a marlin 1895sbl 45-70 caliber

This should hold up fine with standard power ammo, however if you are using higher-power .45-70 ammo it might break down over time. The .45-70 round is right on the border of what night vision and thermal devices can handle.

What format is the video recorded?

The videos are .MOV files, but changing the format from your phone or computer after downloading the files should not be difficult.
