An upgraded buffer can assist in reliable feeding and extraction of a rifle. Typically for a 7.62x39 build, I would recommend an H3 buffer (5.0 - 5.4 oz.). There are many factors that could cause your malfunctions. I would recommend emailing us at Techsales@opticsplanet.com and letting us know what specific parts are on your build.
