I would recommend checking online forums, Youtube and doing a quick Google search and you should be able to find multiple people who have installed this on a Mossberg 500.
I do. I had to buy a new slide tube because the forend that the gun came with was cheap and didnt have a proper slide tube. Just some clips attached to the forend. Once I replaced that it fit fine.
Yes. I put this on my mossberg 500 mariner. I was hoping to make it more shootable for my wife. Turned out the length of pull was the real problem for a female shooter w big chest and short arms, not recoil.... Anyway, I like the stuff youve no doubt already read about. I hate how impossibly Hard To Reach this makes the 500s slide action Button and Safety. They can not be used while your hands are on the pistol grip. That’s a major downgrade from the factory stock in my opinion. The foregrip looked great but appeared to be rubbing the tube so i put the orig back on. I think Im gonna leave the stock on but if i had it to do over again id buy the mag pul set instead. Hope this helps.
