will this stock fit my Remington model 700 BDL manufactured in 1968, factory barrel? also, is that the standard Boyds stock finish and recoil pad?

Yes. This Boyds Hardwood Gunstocks Classic Stock will fit the Remington 700 BDL in a long action caliber. It is Inlett for standard factory tapered barrel channel. This stock is designed for the Remington 700 right hand long action hinged floor plate models.
