Can this stock be converted to AR type magazine feed.

These Boyds Hardwood Gunstocks Classic Ruger American Centerfire Short Action Stocks will not work with AR Magazines. You will need one of the AR Magazine specific stocks for the Ruger American. The stock at the link below will work.

Will this fit a Ruger American Compact 18" barrel in 308 Winchester?

The Boyds Hardwood Gunstocks Classic Ruger American Centerfire Short Action Factory Barrel Channel Stock is designed for barrels that are 22-26" in length.

These stocks will include the front and rear lugs, front and rear takedown screws, triggerguard with screw, and the front magazine tab catch.
