will this work on a remington 783 6.5 creedmoor with a 16.5 heavy barrel?

This Boyds Hardwood Gunstocks Pro Varmint Remington 783 stock is designed to fit Short Action 783 model rifles with a detachable box magazine with a bull barrel. It will still work with factory spec barrels but will leave a gap around the barrel.
