What's the all important weight?

The 22" non-fluted weighs 35.7 oz and the fluted weighs 39.9 oz. Per BSF barrels they state that the fluted may vary by an ounce or so due to the fluting process.

The 22.5" BSF Barrel AR-10 6.5 Creedmoor Rifle Barrel is the same as the 22" barrel found on the BSF website. The product page is currently being updated.

What's the difference between this barrel and Helix 6 precision?

The main difference between the BSF Barrels and the Helix 6 Precision Barrels is that the BSF barrels have a carbon fiber jacket with ventilation cuts which allows the barrels to cool faster and not trap heat.

The BSF Barrels AR-10 6.5 Creedmoor Rifle Barrel will use a 0.875" gas block. The 12" barrel uses a carbine gas system, the 14.5" - 16" uses a mid length gas system, 18" - 20" uses a rifle length gas system, and the 22" - 24" use a rifle +2 gas system.

What gas tube does the 22.5" barrel use?

The 22" model uses a Rifle Plus length gas system, which is sometimes referred to as "XL Rile Length" or " Rifle +2 Length". You can find a gas tube for this length here: https://www.opticsplanet.com/odin-works-xl-rifle-gas-tube.html

As long as it has a 6.5 Creedmoor bolt, it will be compatible with this barrel. It is always best to check head space after installing a barrel.
