I just mounted one on a 1990 Browning BAR in .30-06. I used a Leupold STD Base and one inch Leupold Rings. I bought the set with the front ring having the 5/8” offset on the front ring in the Dovetail. It worked out excellent.

Will this hold up to the recoil of a 12 gauge slug gun??

There is not a specific throw lever for the Burris Fullfield IV 2.5-10x42mm 1in Tube Second Focal Plane Rifle Scope. However, the one at the link below may work.

You would want 17 for the eyepiece and 30 for the objective.
