You would need to purchase and install a picatinny rail, like the SADLAK BM-59 Scope Mount in order to install this optic. If you do not have a picatinny flattop rail, you cannot install this optic. Since this is a prism sight it will require you to have it mounted above the charging handle (due to eye relief) and possibly limiting your use of 8 round clips.
