The reticle is the ballistic CQ reticle and no the unit cannot be co-witnessed because its a 5x magnification scope. Scopes with magnification cannot be co-witnessed with iron sights because of the magnification.

it's a circle red with a red dot magnified 5x perfect for 100yd range paper target,and no you cannot cowitness by is with a prism type scope they are strictly for a red reticle.this prism scope is really nice for what it does and that is 5x magnified reticle with the red dot fast fire 3 on top of a built in picattiny rail on top and it also has side rails for other accessories (I mounted a streamlight long light)on mine,works good.
