Burris is covered by a lifetime warranty.

This scope is not covered by lifetime warranty. It is 3 years from purchase date if registered and if not registered it reverts back to manufacture date.

That is not correct, Burris has a separate Thermal optic warranty which is 3 years from the date of purchase.
