Bushnell does not currently offer caps for this optic and there is not enough mounting space for aftermarket caps.

Is the red dot actually clear or is it a starburst red dot that is fuzzy and not a focused perfect circle like the rest of The RDs in this price range

The Bushnell AR Optics TRS-26 Red Dot Sight is designed for use on AR platforms. It will not fit a Glock 17. The links below will take you to some pistol red dots.

Will the bushnell trs-26 with the mount that comes with it will it have an absolute co-witness with mbus sights?

The mount is designed for lower 1/3 co-witness with AR iron sights, so it is around a 1.57" base to optical center mount.
