JJ,

This is our 3D product line series of Binoculars. The main difference here between our 3D-ED series and a normal pair of binoculars is the ED Glass. Your Carson 3D-ED binoculars contain ED Glass (extra low dispersion glass) in their lenses. This ED Glass helps prevent chromatic aberration (fringes of color that appear around the viewing image).

Thank you for choosing Carson!

The Carson 3D 10x42mm Roof Prism Waterproof Birding Binoculars are part of Carson's 3D/ED line of binoculars. It means that they use dielectric prism coatings with ED glass. ED glass gives you the brightest, and clearest image possible. ED Glass reduces the amount of chromatic aberration that occurs as light passes through a binocular.

The camo versions are not DEMO, they are brand new models. The EDMO on the end of the product code stands for ED Glass and MO for Mossy Oak camo.
