What is the difference between this and the Carson dnv 1.0?

The monocular found here https://www.opticsplanet.com/opmod-carson-opmod-dnv-1-0-limited-edition-mini-aura-digital-night-vision-pocket.html is an OPMOD exclusive product. It will have the OPMOD logo and that would be the only difference.

Digital night vision almost always requires at least some IR illuminator help. A full moon will help as well, but under dark foggy conditions with no light from either the moon, your surroundings or an IR illuminator, the visibility is going to be bad.

What is the range?

This is the information advertised by Carson: "It boasts a 19-degree angle of view and you can see up to 82 feet in total darkness." Under perfect weather conditions with a full moon and/or a high quality IR illuminator you may be able to use this unit out too 150-200 feet maximum.
