Why doesn't CCI sell the empty capsules for reloading purposes it's been off the market for months or years

what is the size and number of shot?

These are #9 shot for a .44 Special. CCI doesn't say how many pellets, but since there's 585 #9 pellets in 1oz (437.5 grains), there'd probably be about 187 pellets in each cartridge. Hope that helps!
