The eyepiece included with this item gives it a fixed magnification at 39x. A more traditional spotting scope may be a better option as most will have a range of available magnification to aid in game detection.

CAN A ZOOM OR BARLOW EYEPIECE BE ADDED ?

A
Answered by Michael Brolin, member, from NC, United States, on August 11, 2019

I would say yes but you got to remember the rule of thumb this scope is only going to go up to 150 usable X in other words the higher you go empower the dimmer the images going to get and start break down and deteriorate but for the price of this scope I mean it's a no-brainer I've taken Moon shots and planet pictures with the scope that are unbelievable for what you're paying for this is an ultimate scope for that price tripods a little shaky but you can keep it from moving around because it has a hook on it you could put a gallon milk jug with water in it and hang it underneath and it stop vibration in its tracks

What is the eye relief of the eyepiece (not the targeting viewfinder)?

32 mm Plossl eye pieces usually provide 20-22 mm of eye relief.
