It does not come with a remote and should function with the original remote as it is compatible with the Wheely Bird system. This is information direct from Champion: "The Champion Wobble Base Attachment can throw up/down, left/right or both at the same time so that every throw simulates hunting conditions. An on/off switch turns the wobble base into a standard trap when needed. This base works with the Workhorse, WheelyBird and WheelyBird 2.0. Don't go clay shooting - go clay hunting."
