is this magazine the 10rnd with removable base plate? not based pad but base plate? the one pictured features a welded base plate with a base pad.

Yes, the current 38 Super that we produce has an integral base pad that is held in place with a retainer plate and is removable so you can disassemble the magazine from the bottom, the same as our 8rd .45 Power Mag. The photo looks to be an older model (at least 10yrs old) or of our Classic 10mm.
