This Christensen Arms .300 WIN MAG Remington 700 Stainless Steel Barrel is designed to fit the Remington 700 and does not include a barrel nut. The barrel and thread protector will be included.

Christensen Arms does not state if the Christensen Arms .300 WIN MAG Remington 700 Stainless Steel Barrel is short chambered. I recommend contacting Christensen Arms for that information.

How is the head space set w/o a barrel nut like on the pre chambered CBI barrels?

The headspace is set between the action and the barrel with the recoil lug.
