Is this needed to install a cmc drop in trigger for a smith&wesson mp15 sport 2?

No, the trigger should drop into the lower receiver and then pin into place, no extra hardware is needed.

It does not include trigger pins as the fire control group is not included in this lower parts kit.

Some parts are compatible with AR10, however not all the parts are compatible. You would be better served with a lower parts kit for 308 AR's like the one linked below.
